The elastic straps on these are terrible! They don't stay on! I've only worn these twice and four of the six are gone, so I am using rubber bands. Also unless you have heavy pants tucked into the boot the tops chafe your shins. Terrible design.

For the price, these boots work well. They have kept my feet dry in the rain & even in the record-setting snow we've had during this brutal winter of 2009-10, provided I stay out of the REALLY deep piles of snow. One annoying problem is that the elastic loops that tie the boots closed have all broken. One actually broke the very 1st time I put them on!!! Now I use rubber bands in their place. Advice for the manufacturer: please make packages of replacement loops available for purchase.

Great boot for the money. Don't get much snow in NC, but these have worked great when we do. Kept feet dry and warm on park and loop route.
