The outsole features SmartLite oil and slip resisitng TPU. Black leather boot is 100% non-metallic. Strobel and San Crispino construction. Hydro-Shield Waterproof Seam Sealed construction.

Junk!!! Heels on the soles wore out after 3 Months. Don't waste your money.

These shoes are the best. No need to break them in they're comfortable from the time you put them on.

Shoe was comfortable out of the box. Sizing seemed to be true (I wear 13's, this boot is a 13 and fit well). A little bit heavier than what I normally wear. Have had the boot for just a few months so unable to comment on durability but otherwise I like the boot and will buy again. I think Rockport quality speaks for itself. I've been with USPS for nearly 30 years and normally try to avoid postal approved shoes but I like these so far.
