The older version was the best 8" Rocky boot for the money.I wore out at least 20 pair{2 per year } in my 17 years {22 years total} of T6 activity in a huge substation.They were discontinued for a short time and then the newer version of this boot has the external fixed eyelets on the top half of the lace flaps making it hard to lace in a hurry.This also causes bootlaces to Frey on the ends further complicating a lace up. I gave up on finding the older version in my size of 8.5M The 5066 may be a suitable replacement.
