This boot is so comfortable. Like someone already said, it is not waterproof. If you want waterproof, wear galoshes over a pair of shoes. I do love the boot, though.

The boot is pretty much ready to wear out of the box. It is light to wear. But my co-workers and i have had the same boot leak in wet weather. Of course after a few miles on them. It is always the right foot .... I will purchase them again this year... I Always bye Rockys

Rocky Model 1950 replacement

I choose these when the Rocky 1950 was not available for sometime.They are actually very comfortable for their respective life span.Much more flexible in the ankle & sole areas than all other boots I've tried.
Similar to a high top tennis shoe but with better ankle support.Expect to wear out 2 pair a year,easily.
The soles do wear & crack quickly.I've even returned a pair after 6 months of usage due to a large quality control issue tear across the sole. Rocky is awesome about RMA's.
