Hat that definitely keeps your head as cool as possible, but what I particularly like about it is its ability to help prevent sunburns. Also, the very dark color of the under side of the brim reduces glare a lot. I have worn the hat in a light drizzle, or in a strong rain but for only a few seconds, but I definitely would NOT wear it in a steady rain for more than a minute or two. That would get it waterlogged.

I have had this hat for over a year now and wear it almost everyday, it still looks great. Excellent for protecting your face and neck from the sun.
