Seems like it would keep one warm

Bought this hood with the AWG Heavy Weight Jacket and AWG Trousers, thinking they would connect together, but they do not. I have not used it because of that. It does seem very thick and warm, my only issue I think would be limiting my peripheral vision, but that would be the case with any hood.
