I agree with others about keeping these shirts clean; I have exactly same problem with removing simple dirt, especially on collar. Plus, they are hot and I liked the old striped shirts much better.
can't keep clean!
Renee (Camden, Ar) 6/9/2017 9:48 PM
the striped shirts were more comfortable, cooler and easier to clean. who at USPS do we need to complain too? my shirts are filthy and can't get them clean even using bleach! maybe a dri fit material so we don't burn up? i know it's not your fault you have to sell what they let sell please let the USPS know we want better! US Uniforms Reply: Your local Unions & the USPS Uniform Program in Washington D.C. is where to voice your complaint on the design of the uniforms. It's hard work out there and we feel your pain. Bleach is not recommended on the shirts though.

living and working in really hot temps and humidity calls for fabrics that can handle it !! please update these shirts for those of us who have to battle the elements. Also these shirts are really hard to keep clean as they stain easily and ring around the collar is ridiculous, can we please please scotchgard these shirts !! US Uniforms: We are with you! The USPS needs to update the uniforms using the latest advances in fabric.
color change

These are super comfy shirts, BUT the color needs to be changed to something else. It requires spot cleaning each and every wear to keep it presentable. Extra time AND extra $$ to upkeep!
Carrier Shirt Jac

Please consider the many carrier reviews regarding shirt color. A darker blue or perhaps a gray-blue (like the slacks color) would show less ink stains. These shirts get grubby fast and no stain remover seems to get them clean. These shirts are very comfortable, but we look unprofessional wearing stained uniforms. US Uniforms: We hear you! Now lets hope the USPS hears you and can make a change.
