I have been using these shoes for over 10 years. I get the wide size and I can put them on brand new and not have blisters or hot spots. I recommend getting your size but in the wide variety. Light and comfortable enough in the hot Texas heat. Durable enough to last through winter.

Overall Decent Shoe But Didn't Work For Me

I like the look of these shoes and they seem sturdy but they are just too narrow for my feet. I wear a size 12.5 EEEE. I ordered the 13XW hoping they would be extra wide but to me they felt like a 13 EE. The length was good though. The only negative thing about the construction of the shoe, in my opinion, is the tongue. It is narrow and it is only connected at the base which can allow the tongue to shift a little exposing the sock. If you have a narrow foot and can pull the laces tight you might not have this problem.

I bought 2 pairs of these shoes and in addition to the other problems I pointed out in previuos review I cannot fit these shoes into my Neos overshoes so now I have to buy another pair of shoes to fit into them

Letter Carrier

Ive gone through many pairs of boots and shoes as a letter carrier for the Postal Service & these boots are first ones I've found that have my feet still feeling great at the end of the day which is saying a lot considering my feet pound asphalt and concrete the majority of my working day. This is my third year purchasing this particular boot - hope they stay around!
