Took 200 miles to break them in...for what we do..and pay...there should be no breaking in period.
US Uniforms Comment: It's a myth that shoes need a break-in period. Try them on as soon as you get them. If they don't fit, send them back at no cost to you with our prepaid return label.

The leather is stiff and nothing like the old old Converse these were to replace by the manufacturer. The shoes never felt right, and I ended up with a badly bruised little toe nail because where the shoe bends is right over my little toe. I have co-workers who ended you with the same thing. The shoe is actually made fairly well, it's just not going to work when your out pounding the sidewalk on an all walking route. I kept them and use them to walk the dog and for doing chores around the house. But dang it, that was a lot of money for lawn mowing shoes.

Bought two pairs with my allowance. Had been wearing Reebok running shoes for a few months before ordering these shoes. The running shoes were very comfortable so I decided to give the Reebok hightops a try. The heel counter in the right shoe of both pairs rubbed badly causing my right heel to receive a painful blister. Inside the shoe the heel counter feels as if it has a sharp point. Rating of one because I have to put a rating in.
